God: A Philosophical Argument from Being by Dr. Norman L. Geisler 2015
Available as a Kindle e-book at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YOAD568.
In this is a 30 page book, Dr. Geisler presents an original, logical, philosophical argument for the existence of the theistic God. This is not a repackaging of the cosmological or ontological arguments. While predicated upon and arguably a logical outworking of thomistic metaphysics, this argument was not explicitly articulated by Thomas Aquinas. And although it may be similar to Avicenna’s (thomistic) argument from contingency for a necessary being, this argument was developed independently of Avicenna. (Great minds think alike!) This is the first time this particular argument from being has been published.

This book was the culmination of over sixty years of Norm’s work in the field of classical Christian apologetics. While it is very similar in structure (Norm’s 12-point framework) and in some parts to the best-selling book I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist by Norm Geisler and Frank Turek, this book is slightly more streamlined and has some different foci.
Norm’s Twelve Points book was originally published through Bastion Books in 2013 but then in 2017 or so, Norm gave the rights to NGIM to republish it and use it as one of their official books to train budding apologists and evangelists around the world. Bastion Books no longer has any rights to it. But we still are happy to advertise it for free since it is such a great book! The profits from the sale of this book go towards having it translated into other languages by NGIM.org.
This book was translated into Spanish in 2018 and is advertised here.
This book was translated into Arabic in 2019 and may be downloaded freely from here.
As of 2019, NGIM is in the process of getting this excellent beginner-to-mid-level apologetics book, The Twelve Points that Show Christianity is True, translated into Spanish (done in 2018), Arabic (completed in late 2019), simplified and traditional Chinese (due by December 2020). We’re excited about extending Norm’s legacy in such a durable and global way! Do you have a copy of your own? Does it seem like a good book to get translated? Do you want to see it translated into other languages? If so, why? Do you want to help get it translated into other languages? If so, start up a conversation with us through either the NGIM contact page or through the Bastion Books Contact page.

This work examines the historical and philosophical strengths and/or weaknesses of current evangelical approaches espousing some forms of post-modernistic historiography and its resultant search for the “historical Jesus.” It demonstrates the marked undermining impact these efforts have had on the biblical text, especially the Gospels, as well inerrancy issues. It compares the Jesus Seminar’s approach with current evangelical practices of searching in terms of their evidential apologetic impact on the trustworthiness of the Gospels. A number of well-known, contemporary evangelical scholars are involved in the so-called “Third Quest” for the historical Jesus. This book raises serious questions about such an endeavor.

Somewhere Under the Rainbow: A Christian Look at Same-Sex “Marriage”
by Norman L. Geisler and Doug Van Gordon 2017
This is available on Amazon here:
This book looks at the events and forces that over the course of decades have undermined the traditional view of marriage to such an extent, as to allow the idea of same–sex “marriage” to become the law of the land. It examines the biblical view of marriage since that view has been the assumption of most of western civilization for the last 2,000 years. It also considers the early Church Father’s view on marriage as well as ancient Greece and Rome. It then examines the arguments used by same–sex marriage advocates to see if in fact Christians need to rethink the issue of homosexuality and marriage and adopt a more “inclusive” interpretation of Scripture. Finally, it looks at how the church can help those struggling with homosexuals who desire to lead godly lives in accordance with His Word. The authors are conservative evangelicals who believe in the inerrancy of Scripture that it is sufficient for faith and practice. They believe that the issue of same–sex “marriage” goes to the heart of who we are as human beings and challenges the biblical teaching that the church has held for over 2,000 years. The goal is not to win arguments but to win souls, to give clarity to those confused by the claims of same–sex “marriage” advocates, and to help the church reach out anew to those dealing with homosexuality in their lives.
