Systematic Theology In One Volume (2021)

This book is the culmination of a seven-decade journey to know God and make Him known—a magnum opus refined over 60 years (1959–2019) in the classrooms of leading evangelical seminaries and colleges. It showcases the wisdom and insight of a deeply respected veteran theologian.

This is a one-volume abridgement of Norm’s four-volume set of Systematic Theology.

Systematic Theology Volume One Book

Norman Geisler’s four-volume Systematic Theology is available as competitively-priced softcover books and as Kindle e-books.

Volume 1 – Introduction & Bible

Volume 2 – God & Creation

Volume 3 – Sin & Salvation

Volume 4 – Church & Last Things

Explaining Biblical Inerrancy

Explaining Biblical Inerrancy is a 170-page compilation of all of the key documents from the International Council on Biblical Inerrancy (ICBI). This council and their documents arose to answer the rise of neo-orthodoxy in evangelical seminaries.  It includes the Chicago Statements on Biblical Inerrancy (1978), the Chicago Statement on Biblical Hermeneutics (1982), and the official commentaries by Dr. R.C. Sproul and Dr. Norman Geisler.

About Bastion Books

How We Started

In 2011, Norman “Norm” Geisler recognized the growing importance of digital book publishing and decided to create Bastion Books, the publishing wing of his ministry, Geisler Enterprises LLC. Bastion Books works primarily to ensure Norm’s books remain available and affordable in English and in other languages.

The Origin of Our Name

He chose the name Bastion Books to highlight the goal of our publishing company to defend the Christian faith. A bastion is a “structure or place from which one can resist attack” or “an institution, place, or person strongly defending or upholding particular principles, attitudes, or activities.”

This reflects Norm’s personal motto: “I am put here for the defense of the gospel” (Phil. 1:16). He intended Bastion Books to be a stronghold of conservative evangelical Christian thought, focusing on the seven key areas that BASTION stands for:

  • Biblical Studies
  • Apologetics
  • Systematic Theology
  • Truth
  • Inerrancy
  • Orthodoxy
  • Normative Ethics
